All purchases are covered by Australian guarantees, and the shops onboard will store larger video and hi-fi items that you purchase until the end of your cruise.

The shops accept you Pacific Sky Cruise Card, and the shop staff can advise you on duty-free allowances or you can check in your onboard directory.

Duty-free shopping will not be available on the Australian coastal cruises, such as the Melbourne Cup cruise.

Snorkelling is the easiest and most exciting way to appreciated the beauty of the unspoilt paradises you will visit on your cruise. There is a hire service onboard for you to rent snorkelling equipment for the cruise.

Medical Centre

Qualified doctors and nurses are on duty in the ship’s medical center. The medical center is outside the scope of Australian Medicare and therefore treatment is charged at private rates, which are posted in the waiting room. Regular daily clinic hours are listed in the Sky Daily, and the medical staff are on call at all other times for emergencies.

We strongly recommend you take out travel insurance or check with your private health insurer, as Medicare does not provide any compensation for medical expenses or repatriation costs incurred onboard. (This applies to all cruises, including Australian coastal cruises).

Our medical staff will not be able to properly treat you if you do not provide us with the personal and health information requested. We ask that you complete and sign a medical release form prior to your consultation with our medical staff. Medical records will be treated in accordance with our privacy policy.
