A wash-and-wear wardrobe is a must on a holiday. Remember that most of your holiday will be spent in the tropics, so lightweight summer clothes are recommended. Don't forget to pack a jacket or cardigan as temperatures can be cool at night and at the start and the end of the cruise. Also, decks can be slippery so make sure you bring some low-heeled shoes. Don’t forget to bring your beach wear and towel for use in port and at the island beaches.
During the day casual wear is suggested. Bare feet, thongs, singlets, shorts and beach/pool attire are not permitted in the lounges after 5.45pm and are not permitted in the restaurants at any time, so you'll need to bring some smart casual clothes to wear at night: for men - long trousers and a collared shirt; for ladies - skirts, pants and blouses, or dresses. We ask passengers to wear swimming and sunbathing gear only around the pool and open deck areas and only during the daytime.
Formal evenings are part of the fun and romance of a Pacific Sky cruise. On seven to nine night cruises there are usually two formal nights onboard, with up to three formal nights on longer cruises. Men usually wear a jacket and tie, or suit, and women wear a formal evening or cocktail dress. These evenings are announced in the Sky Dailynewspaper.
There are three theme nights onboard Pacific Sky where you'll have the chance to get in on the act. "Country & Western", "Island Night" and "Fright Night" are the themes, so why not pack something special, dress up and join in the fun!
