Luggage

P&O Cruises carries all personal baggage and shopping free, provided each item conforms to the size limits of no more than 140cm x 60cm x 40cm and is stowed in your cabin. However, airline baggage restrictions may apply if you are purchasing our attractively priced air add-ons.

Please remember to clearly write your cabin number, name, address and telephone numbers on the baggage labels provided in your ticket wallet and attach these to your baggage. The Departure Information leaflet sent to you in your ticket wallet will give you information on what to do with your baggage. (This depends on whether you are flying or making your own arrangements to board the ship.)

For your security, all baggage will be security screened by x-ray machine at embarkation.

What to Pack

It's easy to forget, so use this list when you pack:

Air Luggage

If you are flying to or from Pacific Sky on P&O Cruises nominated flights on the day of sailing, it is vital that every item of luggage has a P&O Cruises identifying label on it to assist us in getting all your luggage to and from the ship. Airline baggage restrictions apply to those purchasing P&O Cruises’ airfare add-ons. PLEASE NOTE: There are no luggage facilities at the wharf.

Carry-on Luggage

Your passport, travel documents, any duty-free items and GST tax invoice (for TRS) are to be carried onboard separately, as they are required at embarkation. We recommend that you carry valuables and/or fragile articles and any medicines with you rather than in your baggage. It helps to avoid breakages.

Prohibited Items

Dangerous articles such as fireworks, guns and flammable liquids are strictly prohibited and must not be included in baggage brought onboard, nor kept in cabins, under any circumstances. It is a federal offence to carry such items.

Bringing Alcohol Onboard

Passengers are permitted to bring on one bottle (1125ml) per adult at the start of the cruise. Any amounts in excess of this or any alcohol purchases made in other ports must be surrendered to be held in bond and retured at disembarkation in the final port of call. Upon disembarking Pacific Sky, individuals must declare to Customs all amounts of alcohol in excess of Customs limits of 1125ml per adult. P&O Cruises reserves the right to refuse to serve alcohol to any passenger for any reason.

Valuables

We strongly recommend that you hand-carry all valuables, including jewellery, electronics and cameras. Please read the Passage Ticket Contract for limitations and responsibilities for lost luggage.

At the End of Your Cruise

At the end of your cruise, all baggage, except fragile packages and hand luggage, will be taken ashore for you. Please put it outside your cabin when advised to do so (this is generally the night before disembarkation).

Remember to bring an overnight bag for clothes, medication and personal effects you need to keep at hand for the night prior to disembarkation.
